Here is a guide TO HELP YOU NOW THAT YOU ARE READY to receive the Grace of God, and make JESUS the Lord of your life.
1 - God Loves You
God loved the world that He GAVE His Dearly beloved Son. The bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" - John 3:16
Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”— John 10:10. He came that you may have a full life and a free life in Him.
2 - Why The Restoration?
Through sin, people became separated from God.
Before we meet Jesus, our lives are riddled with the guilt of thinking, saying, doing and being people we are not proud of, essentially riddled with "sin". Sin dominates our lives, at times rendering us so incapable of living and being truly free. The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” - Romans 3:23.
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." - 1 John 1:10. The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God and an eternity spent without Him. - Romans 6:23.
3 - The Good News
This is how God showed his love for us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9
Jesus died in our place, and completely saved us from the penalty of sin, so we could live with Him in heaven for eternity and spend the rest of our earthly lives in relationship with The Eternal, All knowing God. We will never be alone ever again.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” - Romans 5:8.
While we were not looking for God, He was looking at us, knocking at the door of our hearts. The story doesn't end with the Son of God hanging on a cross and laying in a grave, He conquered sin and the grave by rising from the dead victoriously, making a way for us to triumph victoriously over sin and the death. “Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus is the only way to God.
4 - Jesus Is The Only Way
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” - John 14:6. There is no other way to God, no other way we can have life and no other truth but Jesus. Our lives are fully saved, fully satisfied. We are fully forgiven not because of our works or good thoughts but because of the complete work of Jesus on that cross over 2,000 years ago. This is the gospel message, that God came to men, lived amongst men and made a way for all people to be saved through Him. To truly be free.
Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is know you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask for His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins, that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you.
Get Ready for your life to change:
Are you ready to make Jesus the Lord of your life, to receive forgiveness for your sins and to live a life with eternity in mind?
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13
You start by confessing:
I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for me. I am willing to change and turn away from my sin.
I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my Lord & Savior.
Guide my life and help me to do your will.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
